Blocks in Pappila, Tampere

The Pappila block is a complex of 16,000 m2residential building designed by Neva Architects in Pappila, Tampere. The meandering masses form a dense block on the south slope of Pappila next to the net of parks and recreational activities.

Diverse housing

There are two TOAS student houses and four non-subsidized apartment buildings in the residential block of the six buildings. The communal feeling has been created by bringing various meeting rooms into the buildings and a shared courtyard for the residents of the block.

The brick and plaster on the facades create an elegant exterior for the buildings. The sheltered courtyard provides quiet areas for residents to hang out and a safe play areas for children.
